autoNUM
Update autoNUM5 2012-03-26: Version 5 fixes a problem which caused autoNUM to not correctly detect whether the external keyboard is connected on startup. Furthermore, the UI has been slightly improved.
This program is meant to automatically turn NUM on, when an external USB-keyboard is connected to the computer, and off when the keyboard is disconnected. It is meant for laptops/notebooks.
When started, it checks if the keyboard is already connected. Then it waits for the event of connection/disconnection of the USB keyboard.
It requires devcon.exe by Microsoft which is not included with autoNum4.exe but can be downloaded for free.
This program needs Administrative Privileges (only because devcon needs them).
autoNUM can be downloaded for free and you can redistribute it if you wish
